Hook Lighthouse, in Co. Wexford, will host a free traditional Samhain festival from 29 to 31 October.

The free Féile Samhain celebration will include traditional Halloween games, such as pumpkin-tossing and tug of war, and a Halloween treasure quest, and there will also be a daily prize for the best costume.
Additionally, there is an opportunity to book pumpkin painting with the Hook’s resident artist, Rose, from 12pm to 4pm daily, and every half an hour on Saturday 29 October and Sunday 30 October – at 5.30, 6.00, 6.30 and 7.00pm – there will be lantern-led tours of the 800-year-old lighthouse for adults and over-twelves only.
