Guinness's €1.5 million fund to provide support to communities affected by COVID-19 in Ireland has financed a new dedicated freephone helpline to support workers in the hospitality sector who have been impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. The helpline, which was launched on Friday March 27, was established by national housing charity Threshold.
The service will provide tailored advice to anyone in the hospitality sector who is concerned about their ability to pay rent as a result of their income being impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. It will offer advice and guidance to those who contact it about their tenancy, including negotiation with landlords.
