Former International Airlines Group (IAG) boss Willie Walsh will be nominated to succeed the director general of global airline body International Air Transport Association (IATA), Alexandre de Juniac, who is stepping down in March, IATA has said.
Intention To Step Down Declared Earlier This Year
De Juniac, who is a former Air France-KLM CEO and has led IATA since 2016, made his intention to step down known several months ago, the organisation said in a statement.
