Dublin In Line For €50M St Patrick's Day Boost

According to the Dublin Chamber of Commerce, the capital will receive a €50 million cash boost from St Patrick's day celebrations, as more than 120,000 tourists are expected to flock to Dublin over the course of the five-day festival. According to Chamber chief executive, Gina Quinn, "The St Patrick's Festival is Dublin's flagship annual event and it looks like this year could be the biggest yet." Over 880,000 people will take part in the festivities, which start today and will run until Monday 18 March.
