Dublin and Cork airports operator DAA has announced that it has appointed Catherine Gubbins as its interim chief executive officer, following the departure of previous CEO Dalton Philips.

According to a statement published on DAA.ie, the process to recruit a new permanent CEO is continuing and DAA is making good progress in that process, but while it continues, Gubbins will handle the full responsibilities of CEO and also become an ex officio member of the DAA plc doard of directors.

The statement published on DAA.ie added that Gubbins joined the DAA in December of 2014 as its group financial controller before being appointed as its director of finance and becoming a member of its executive management team in April of 2019 and subsequently being appointed as group chief financial officer in February of 2021.
