Dublin Airport has announced plans to expand the immigration control areas at its Pier 1 and Pier 2 facilities in a bid to increase queuing capacity and improve passenger flow and immigration processing.
As reported by The Irish Independent, the DAA said it intends to carry out a "significant extension" to the existing immigration hall at Pier 1 and Pier 2.
Extension Plans
The extension will involve refiguring passport booths, e-gates and the immigration hall's overall layout as well as the relocation of a travellator and escalators.
