Learn how to reduce your energy bills and improve your environmental performance
Ireland's leading annual energy event returns to the RDS on Wednesday March 27 and Thursday March 28, 2019. The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) Energy Show features 150 exhibitors of energy saving and renewable energy technologies and services. It is a must for businesses who want to learn about the latest developments in the energy sector. There are also over 20 expert seminars and workshops.
Last year, almost 4,500 people attended the SEAI Energy Show and, according to exhibitors, over €90 million worth of business was won at the 2018 show.
"A Key Business Event"
Commenting on the upcoming SEAI Energy Show, Jim Gannon, CEO of SEAI, said, "The SEAI Energy Show is well-established in the Irish calendar and it continues to be a key business event, bringing together buyers, suppliers and experts to showcase the latest energy innovations. It’s a unique one-stop shop where those involved in the business of sustainable energy learn about the technologies and services for domestic, commercial and industrial sectors that can help improve energy efficiency, and help us move towards a cleaner energy future."
Visitors will see everything from large-scale renewable energy solutions, to smart energy management systems and lighting technology innovations at the SEAI Energy Show. There will be free test drives in the latest electric vehicles. Visitors will also be able to download a custom app for the SEAI Energy Show to help facilitate business networking opportunities.
Attendees can link up with industry and professional associations, including Engineers Ireland, CIBSE, National Insulation Association of Ireland, and the Association of Plumbers and Heating Contractors. Many will be involved in the demonstration area for building retrofit which will showcase best practice in the installation of various types of insulation and the installation of numerous renewable technologies.
There will be a number of sessions of interest to the hospitality industry, including an overview of the financial and technical supports available to deliver a bioenergy project. Renewable heat delivered from biomass fuel is one of the lowest cost renewable energy forms, and is particularly attractive for hotels and leisure centres.
SEAI Energy Theatre
The SEAI Energy Theatre will also return to the SEAI Energy Show this year, offering free talks with industry experts on the latest policy and market developments, including:
* An overview of SEAI grants and supports available for organisations looking to do significant energy projects
* A lighting showcase with solutions to save your business money
* Latest developments in the electric vehicle market, including cars available, charging infrastructure and examples of where electric vehicles have been integrated to commercial fleets
The SEAI Energy Show is a free business event and will run from 10am – 7pm on Wednesday March 27 and from 9am to 4pm on Thursday March 28, 2019.
