Clare County Council has revealed a plan to revamp visitor facilities at the Cliffs of Moher.
Overwhelmed
The council said that the current visitor facilities at the cliffs become overwhelmed at peak times due to the fact that the facilities' infrastructure was designed to accommodate 400,000 visitors per year, but now caters for approximately 1.5 million visitors per year.
The revamp plan for the facilities includes a new café and retail design among other concepts.
