CIE Tours has announced the appointment of Stephen Cotter as its managing director.
Cotter will be responsible for overseeing all company operations in the US and Ireland.
Cotter has worked with CIE Tours for more than 20 years, having held leadership roles in the areas of finance and operations.
He most recently served as chief operations officer and had been interim managing director since October 2023.

“His forward-thinking approach and commitment to excellence align perfectly with CIE Tours’ mission to be at the forefront of the tour operations industry.”
Expansion
In recent years, CIE Tours has expanded its business to destinations including Iceland and Italy.
Last year, over 35,000 people travelled with CIE Tours, showing continuing demand for guided vacations.

Cotter also stated that the expansion of CIE Tours in Ireland and to other countries will be a key focus for him and the company.
