New services from Belfast City Airport to Palma have been launched.

According to a statement published on BelfastCityAirport.com, the new charter services with TUI and Travel Solutions will operate every Saturday during the summer.

The statement published on BelfastCityAirport.com quoted Belfast City Airport commercial director Katy Best as saying, "As we head into the busy summer period at Belfast City Airport, we are pleased to further expand our network to provide Northern Ireland passengers with direct links to this popular holiday destination.
"Together with our partners TUI and Travel Solutions, we have no doubt that this new Mallorca charter service will appeal to a variety of travellers including families, couples and friends, due to its short flight time and the variety of top-quality accommodation options available.
"Those who travel to Mallorca from Belfast City Airport will also benefit from a hassle-free start to their journey thanks to our prime location, just five minutes from the city centre.
"Coupled with an average security processing time of just six minutes, passengers are guaranteed the ultimate choice and convenience when they choose Belfast City Airport this summer."
Belfast City Airport Is NI's Most Punctual, According To CAA Data
The above news follows news from last month that Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) data lists Belfast City Airport as being Northern Ireland's most punctual airport last year.
