Belfast International Airport is getting ready to undergo a £2.5 million facelift of its food and drinks facilities.
The Belfast Telegraph reports that SSP, which runs food and drinks services at a wide array of airports worldwide, has announced that it will be handling the refurbishment, which is expected to generate approximately 70 new full- and part-time jobs.
SSP UK and Ireland CEO Simon Smith, stated: "We have been working at Belfast for over 15 years and we are delighted to be building on this long-standing relationship with one of the UK's most important airports."
The revamp will involve a complete refurbishment of the airport's Starbucks, with its Café Bar being transformed into a second Ritazza coffee shop and its Strangford Kitchen & Grill becoming a "food-led premium bar."
