ANA Aeroportos de Portugal (ANA) from VINCI Airports group has chosen Dublin and Cork airports operator DAA subsidiary Aer Rianta International (ARI) as the partner of choice to form a joint venture company to operate its duty-free and duty-paid retail concessions portfolio in Portugal.

The contract covers eight airport locations in Lisbon, Porto, Faro, Madeira Islands (Madeira and Porto Santo) and Azores Islands (Ponta Delgada, Sta Maria, Horta) from 1 June of this year.
The concession scope incorporates more than 34 commercial spaces, including duty free main shops, satellite stores, and fashion/beauty stores, with a total area approximately of 9,500 square metres, which the new joint venture will manage for a seven year period.
