Aer Lingus Invests In Business Class Transatlantic Service

Aer Lingus is to invest €25 million in a transatlantic business class service that it will launch next March.

The service will be available on all seven of its Airbus A330s in time for its 2015 summer programme.

Announcing particulars of the service at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin, yesterday, Aer Lingus chief executive Christoph Mueller said the airline’s long-haul business has been growing at record levels over the last two years.

“We continually strive to improve our customers’ Aer Lingus experience offering greater convenience and product enhancements,” he said.

“We have increased the number of destinations to which we fly.“We have introduced high speed wifi on our services to the US. We clear US customs in Ireland.”
