Tourism Ireland has announced that 42 sites around Poland have signed up to take part in its Global Greening for St. Patrick's Day 2019.
Participating sites include the City Hall in Poznań, Centennial Hall in Wroclaw and Galeria Echo in Kielce.
Reinforcing "Strong Bonds"
Tourism Ireland CEO Niall Gibbons commented, "This is the 10th year of Tourism Ireland’s Global Greening initiative and I am delighted to see 42 Polish sites participating for 2019, reinforcing the strong bonds between Poland and Ireland. I would particularly like to thank the Irish Embassy in Warsaw for their great support in persuading so many buildings and sites to come on board.
"St. Patrick’s Day traditionally marks the real start of the tourism season for us. Our aim is to bring a smile to the faces of people around the world and to convey the message that Ireland offers the warmest of welcomes and great fun, as well as wonderful scenery and heritage."
