The company that operates Darina Allen's Ballymaloe Cookery School in Co. Cork recorded a profit of €62,134 for the year that ended on August 31, 2018, following a loss of €45,548 in 2017.
The cookery school's accumulated profits rose to €2.7 million by the end of the twelve month period.
A "More Upbeat" Year
The Irish Times quotes the school's general manager, Toby Allen, as saying, "After a number of difficult years, where we had some one-off expenses that we needed to absorb, last year was more upbeat and we once again showed a small profit."
