In the wake of the revelation of the line-up for Fáilte Ireland's "Taste the Island" programme, the national tourism development authority has launched a "Taste the Island" TV ad that encourages domestic holiday-makers to take a short break in Ireland to enjoy some of the food- and drink-related experiences that will be on offer across the island this September, October and November.
12 Week Celebration
The "Taste the Island" programme involves a 12 week celebration of Ireland's seasonal ingredients, tastes and experiences that will unfold across September, October and November of this year.
The programme was developed by Fáilte Ireland in collaboration with Tourism Ireland, Tourism Northern Ireland and a range of stakeholders.
