Deliveroo's revenues in Ireland rose last year by 64% to €43.2 million, according to RTÉ.

As reported by RTE.ie, new accounts have revealed that Deliveroo Ireland Ltd's revenues rose increased by €16.85 million to €43.2 million from €26.34 million during the 12 month period that ended on 31 December 2021, while its operating profit grew to to €1.123 million from €54,504; its profits dropped as result of a foreign exchange loss and interest amounting €303,991, which resulted in a 27% rise in pre-tax profit €819,246; staff costs amounted to €626,989, with Deliveroo directly employing 10 people in Ireland in sales, marketing and operations; its non-cash depreciation costs amounted to €79,468; its cost of sales amounted to €28.45 million; its administration expenses were a total of €5.05 million.
Directors' Statements
RTE.ie quotes the firm's as saying that the rise in revenue last year was "as a result of increased demand, the change in ordering behaviour and sales mix brought about the impact of COVID-19".
RTE.ie also quotes the directors as saying that the company's gross profits grew by 75% to €14.74 million, "reflecting both increased demand and the scalable unit economics of the business model".
