Deliveroo Ireland has today revealed its annual Deliveroo 100 Report, highlighting trending dishes from around the world in 2024.
Two Irish dishes feature in the global top 20 this year, with items from Dublin’s Xian Street Food and the Deliveroo Restaurant of the Year 2024, Yeeros, making the list.
“Spice bags continue to reign supreme in Ireland, so it’s no surprise that the beloved takeaway classic from Xian Street Food in Dublin has earned a firm place in the nation’s heart, becoming one of Deliveroo’s top ten trending dishes worldwide in 2024,” said Helen Maher, Deliveroo’s regional director for Ireland.
“While our trending list in Ireland continues to be dominated by local favourites such as spice bags, burgers and gyros, Deliveroo customers are increasingly using our service to order grocery essentials direct to their doors, particularly from locally owned businesses like Shuppa.”

Deliveroo’s 2024 Independent Restaurant of the Year winner – Yeeros, in Dublin – is in second place, with its Chicken Gyro Wrap. Deliveroo Restaurant Award judge Jimi Famurewa, food critic and writer, praised Yeeros for its commitment to serving the best-tasting authentic Greek street food.
The Dash Double Smash, from Dash Burger, is third, followed closely by the Cheeseburger from Bunsen, Dublin. The burger establishment serves its own version of a ‘smash burger’, which has seen a spike in popularity over the past 12 months. For the first time in Irish Deliveroo 100 history, Avonmore Fresh Milk from Shuppa, in Dublin, has made the top-30 list, in position 27. This all-new inclusion is one of the many different types of drinks, food and cuisines that have trended over the past 12 months.
