Teeling Whiskey have launched the second volume of its limited edition commemorative single malt 'The Revival' to coincide with its one year anniversary at Newmarket.
This years iteration consists of a 13 year old single malt Irish whiskey, which was distilled in 2002 and matured for 12 years in ex-Bourbon casks, then went an additional aging for 12 months in ex-Calvados French apple brandy casks. It's described as having a flavour profile of floral baked apples, cinnamon and a toffee sweetness, with an alcohol by volume of 46 per cent.
The Revival Volume II is limited to 10,000 bottles and is the first ever Calvados cask matured Irish whiskey.
Jack Teeling, Founder and Managing Director of the Teeling Whiskey Company, said: "The one-year anniversary of our award winning distillery and visitor centre is a major milestone in the history of the Teeling Whiskey Company. We released Revival Volume I when the distillery first opened and one year on we are proud to unveil a second celebratory bottling – The Revival Volume II."
