PepsiCo has purchased two sites in Little Island in Cork for close to €1.5 million.
As reported by The Irish Examiner, the sites are located at the GB Business Park next to Cork Golf Club.
One of the sites is 4.5 acres in size and cost over €1.25 million. The other site is 0.4 acres in size and cost almost €200,000.
Both purchases were handled by Declan Hickey of Casey & Kingston Auctioneers & Estate Agents.

The sites are currently being cleared for construction by PepsiCo, which has had a base in Little Island since 1974.
PepsiCo also has a shared services office at Cork's Eastgate Retail & Business Park and a plant in Carrigaline in Co. Cork.
