Pernod Ricard has announced that Anne Lange, co-founder and CEO of Mentis, is to become a director and member of the drinks giant's Strategic Committee.
She replaces Laurent Burelle, who has resigned from his position “in order to comply with the provisions of the ‘Macron’ Law relating to the limited number of directorships of executive directors,” a Pernod statement said.
Her career began in the department of the French prime minister as director of France’s state-owned Broadcasting Office. She is also the former head of the eBusiness Europe department, and acted as general secretary of the Forum des Droits sur l’Internet.
Following this, she “went on to hold successively the positions of Director of Public Sector Europe, Executive Director Media and Public Sector Global Operations (in the USA), and Innovation Executive Director within the Internet Business Solution Group division of Cisco,” a Pernod press release said.
Alexandre Ricard, is CEO and Chairman said, “I would like to thank Laurent Burelle for his involvement and his active contribution to the works of the Board of Directors and of the Strategic Committee. I would also like to welcome Anne Lange to the Board of Directors. I know we will benefit from her expertise in innovation and digital, two major challenges for our Group."
