Mount Juliet Estate has announced that Curraghmore Single Estate Pot Still Whiskey is the latest whiskey to join the collection at its 1757 Bar.
The triple-cask-matured whiskey is made with oats and barley from the Curraghmore Estate in Waterford, less than an hour from Mount Juliet Estate.
The 1757 Bar at Mount Juliet Estate will reserve bottles from the first distilled batch of this rare whiskey for guests to enjoy and collectors to purchase.
Earl Of Tyrone
To mark the occasion, Mount Juliet Estate is hosting an exclusive Curraghmore Whiskey-tasting event with a special guest, the creator of Curraghmore Whiskey, the Earl of Tyrone, Mr Richard de la Poer Beresford.
The Curraghmore Whiskey Event with special guest the Earl of Tyrone will take place in the 1757 Bar, Manor House, Mount Juliet Estate, on Thursday 19 September.
‘Historic And Memorable’
“We are delighted to welcome Mr Richard de la Poer Beresford, the Earl of Tyrone, to Mount Juliet Estate,” said Mark Dunne, general manager.
“From one country estate in Ireland’s Ancient East to another, this evening is a special occasion, offering a taste of the terroir in this rare whiskey from the Curraghmore Estate, enjoyed in the refined 1757 Bar – this promises to be a historic and memorable evening.”
Collectors And Aficionados
The 1757 mixologists will demonstrate the perfect pour and create a selection of Curraghmore Whiskey drinks and cocktails to enjoy on the evening.
Guests will be treated to a menu of Lady Helen ‘bites’, specially created by chef John Kelly and his team, paired with the flavour and aroma notes of Curraghmore Whiskey.
Collectors and aficionados will benefit from expert recommendations on the night.
