Heineken Ireland is reportedly looking for a new managing director after the global drinks giant announced that Maggie Timoney is set to return to Heineken in the US.
Timoney, who has run Heineken Ireland for the last five years, will replace Ronald den Elzen as chief executive in the US this September. The brewer said it will announce a replacement for Timoney “over the coming months,” according to The Irish Times.

Timoney previously served as general manager of Heineken Canada for four years, helping Canada become one of the brand’s top ten global markets, before she moved onto the position of chief people officer at Heineken USA in 2010 and then succeeded David Forde as managing director of Heineken Ireland in 2013 when the latter was appointed managing director of Heineken's UK operations.
