Guinness Storehouse Named Top European Tourist Attraction

The Guinness Storehouse has been named Europe’s top tourist attraction at the World Travel Awards European Gala in Forte Village in Sardinia last Saturday, 5th of September.

After being shortlisted alongside some of Europe’s best known attractions, including the Acropolis in Athens and Barcelona’s La Sagrada Familia, the Guinness Storehouse won the largest public vote.

Speaking at the ceremony, Paul Carty, Managing Director of the Guinnes Storehouse commented; “One in every two holidaymakers to Dublin visits the Guinness Storehouse and we are very aware and very proud of our position at the front line of the warm Irish welcome.”

“This award is a great acknowledgement of the team’s dedication to providing an unforgettable, world-class visitor experience.”

He continued, "I would like to whole heartedly thank all of the Guinness Storehouse fans from Ireland and around the world who voted.”
