Glendalough Distillery will showcase some rare, exclusive and innovative gins at this weekend’s Gin Experience. The distillery team will be sharing their knowledge, expertise and passion for gin when they participate at Dublin’s first Gin Experience in The Printworks at Dublin Castle.
Glendalough will be inviting gin enthusiasts to sample and enjoy their globally awarded Wild Botanical Gin along with other bespoke gins, including a very special Wild Blackberry & Mountain Heather Gin distilled exclusively for Gin Experience.
Other highlights on offer within the Glendalough Gin portfolio will include their four seasonal gins and some unusual, experimental gins from Glendalough’s Ginteresting series - Beech Leaf Gin & Sloe Gin. Visitors to the Glendalough stand will be able to forage for their preferred garnish from plants growing at their wild stand.
Two other exclusives to sample at the Glendalough stand will be:
- Glendalough Gin & Skelligs Chocolate Truffles
- Glendalough Gin & Butterfly and the Bee Strawberry Jam
In addition to tasting these special gins and food collaborations at their stand, Glendalough will be providing two educational sessions over the weekend:
- Renowned mixologist Darren Geraghty will be providing some Wild Cocktail inspiration at the Gin Experience’s Cocktail Bar. Friday 8.30 – 8.50pm. Places are limited to 15 people.
- Glendalough’s forager and distiller will host a ‘Fresh from the Wild’ masterclass where gin lovers can discover how Glendalough’s unique gin is made from wild botanicals, foraged in the mountains around their distillery throughout the year. Saturday 5.15 – 6.15pm. Last few places remaining.
