Dalcassian Wines & Spirits has announced further expansion with three senior appointments.
The company has a portfolio of over 100 premium wine and spirits brands including Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin, Walsh whiskeys, Diplomatico rum and Jaffelin, Wakefield, Elvaro and Astoria wines.
Co. Down native Frank O’Hanlon takes up the role of Commercial Sales Manager following 30 years working in the licensed trade both North and South of the country. He spent 27 years with Diageo Ireland heading up sales and commercial management roles in both the on and off-trade. Prior to joining Dalcassian Wines & Spirits, O'Hanlon held senior management roles in Dillon Bass (NI) and Counterpoint Wholesale. He will lead the 30-strong sales team in business development and expansion across their 100-plus wine and spirit brand portfolio.
Julie McMahon has been appointed Wine Trade Marketing Manager representing in excess of 40 premium wine ranges in both the on and off-trade. She joined Dalcassian Wines & Spirits in 2011 as an area sales manager, later taking up the role of regional sales manager. Prior to joining the company McMahon spent over 11 years working in the hospitality sector and hotel management in Ireland and abroad, holding roles in Buswells Hotel Dublin and the Sea Pires Resort in South Carolina.
Meanwhile, Lisa Deveney has been announced as Marketing Manager for Dalcassian Wines & Spirits co-ordinating all marketing activity across the company, working directly on activation and execution with the sales team.
She joins from PepsiCo where she spent over seven years on the trade marketing team with focus on the snack side of the business, representing brands including Walkers, Doritos and Tropicana.
