Carlsberg Group has announced that Joris Huijsmans will become its chief human resources officer on January 1, 2021.
According to Carlsberg Group's website, as senior vice president, chief human resources officer, Huijsmans will be the HR business partner to the ExCom and will lead the global HR leadership team.
Career Background And Previous Carlsberg Roles
Huijsmans has a broad background in general management, sales and HR, and has held various international senior management positions in the Netherlands, Mexico, Singapore and Hungary.
Huijsmans joined Carlsberg in 2016 as VP group strategy. In 2018, he was appointed VP urban development and new business, and was subsequently appointed MD of Carlsberg export & license in 2019.
