New accounts for Bushmills have revealed that the whiskey maker's turnover rose by close to £4 million last year.
The Belfast Telegraph reports that despite pretax profit dropping from £5.8 million to £5.3 million, the Old Bushmills Distillery Company Ltd took in £31.6 million during the 12 months ending on December 31, 2017, up from £27.8 million the previous year.
Maturation Warehouses
Bushmills received permission in August to construct 29 new maturation warehouses at its Co. Antrim distillery and, as well as producing its own brands, the company is now also producing Conor McGregor's recently-launched whiskey brand, Proper 12.
