Bulmers is introducing a new line of flavoured ciders with the launch of Forbidden Flavours, with Cloudy Lemon, Strawberry & Lime, Juicy Pear and Berry Berry variants.
According to owners C&C, the new product line will “enhance the current cider offering from Bulmers, which already has a heritage spanning 80 years”.
Belinda Kelly, marketing manager at Bulmers says, “This quartet of flavours delivers a new cider taste experience, the natural way. We really think that Forbidden Flavours will appeal to the person walking into a pub and wanting something truly refreshing, with a bit of an edge and a hint of sweetness.”
“It’s no secret that the drinks industry has been challenged over the past number of years, but Bulmers is taking on that challenge, staring it in the face and doing something innovative and interesting that we think the market has been waiting for,” she adds.
The Forbidden Flavours range is now available in 500ml bottles in both the on and off trade, while the launch is being supported by above and below-the-line advertising, with a public relations and trade marketing campaign.
