The Cahernane House Hotel of Killarney, Co. Kerry, has entered the final phase of a €6.5 million redevelopment that has been ongoing since the property was purchased by the Prem Group in 2016.
According to The Irish Times, the latest stage of the refurbishment will cost approximately €3 million and will involve major renovations of all 26 rooms in the Garden Wing, as well as a revamp of the venue's Cellar Bar and lobby.
An application has also been submitted to Kerry County Council for permission to construct an additional 22 bedrooms and more public spaces. The Prem Group stated that all of the renovations have been planned out with "a sympathetic eye" on maintaining the premises' original aesthetic.
