Amaris Hospitality has today (1 June) announced the official opening of the 239-room Hilton Garden Inn Dublin Custom House, the brand's first hotel in Ireland.
Owned and operated by Amaris Hospitality, the hotel has been converted from a Jurys Inn property as part of Amaris Hospitality's €140 million strategy and investment programme to transform, rebrand and reposition 23 hotels in its portfolio.
"We are excited to introduce our brand's signature service, style and Satisfaction Promise to Ireland and the beautiful city of Dublin," said John Greenleaf, global head, Hilton Garden Inn. "Hilton Garden Inn Dublin Custom House joins more than 45 Hilton Garden Inns across Europe and offers guests a convenient and enjoyable place to stay in Ireland's capital city."
Located on the banks of the River Liffey in the heart of the Irish Financial Services Centre, Hilton Garden Inn Dublin Custom House is targeted at both business and leisure travellers.
Commenting on the announcement, John Brennan, CEO of Amaris Hospitality, said: "We're delighted to be adding another fantastic Hilton Garden Inn brand to our portfolio. The conversion of the hotel has seen us commit significant new investment to the hotel and enhance the quality of the property and guest experience of this very popular hotel even further. We look forward to working in conjunction with our partners, Hilton Worldwide, and our fantastic team to make Ireland's first Hilton Garden Inn a favourite for Dublin visitors."
The Jurys Inn chain became part of the Amaris Hospitality group in July last year, which comprises 89 hotels from four discrete portfolios. Jurys was taken over by US-based Lone Star Funds in a €900 million deal earlier in 2015.
