Glanbia, Gallagher's Bakery, Club Orange and Nobó were among the winners at the Bord Bia Food & Drink Awards, which took place at Dublin's Mansion House last night.
Glanbia was a double winner on the night, with its Avnomore Supermilk brand taking the top prize in the Branding Award, while its Glanbia Ingredients Ireland business was one of two winners in the Sustainability category, alongside Island Seafoods.
Gallagher's Bakery also won two awards, in the Export and Entrepreneurial categories.
Club Orange was named the winner in the Digital Marketing category, Glenisk won the Consumer Insight category (pictured), Nobó is the winner in the Innovation category and Celtic Pure won the Success at Home category.
Commenting on the awards, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Mr. Simon Coveney T.D said, “As the industry continues to develop premium positions in established markets, significant progress is also being made in opening up new markets that can help sustain its growth. I am deeply conscious that business is not easily won and Irish food and drink companies are to be commended for their success and determination in developing Ireland’s largest indigenous industry."
The Awards are held every two years.
